Is SEM paint good?
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great when you use the SEM cleaner and primer. Painted the interior trim of my car and it looks like the pieces were always black! Dries smooth and even.
Is Dupli-Color any good?
The paint was perfectly smooth and the metallic sheen really stood out. I added 3 more coats. The paint color is slightly lighter than the car’s original color, but pretty good considering it’s not supposed to be a perfect match anyway. The job required less than half of the 32 oz.
Is Duplicolor or rustoleum better?
1) the Dupli-Color is best for IMPACT resistance/cushioning, the Rust-Oleum is for ABRASION resistance. 2) the Dupli-Color makes a THICKER coating that is more forgiving to the nature of the application surface, the Rust-Oleum will look as nice as it does for LONGER (I think).

Re: mixing rustoleum and duplicolor As long as they’re both enamels, just let the rustoleum sit for a week to cure before you clearcoat and you should be fine.
Can you spray 1K clear over 2k clear?
Yes, you definitely can. 1k clear coat is where you don’t need to add a hardening agent and it just evaporates and dries. You can put a 2K clear coat over a single-stage clear coat or base coat. You just need to make sure that you sand it a little bit.
