Why does Suunto app for iOS not connect to my Suunto device?
Check if the watch is already paired with the iPhone: go to the iPhone’s settings – Bluetooth and if it appears as a paired device, please remove it and start the pairing process again. Why is my Suunto step counter not working?
no vibration e.g. during button presses. watch functionalities are not working as expected e.g. no wrist heart rate data is recorded (optical heart rate LED lights are not blinking), compass is not calibrating. step counter is not counting daily steps (please note, recorded steps may be shown with a delay). SuuntoLink is not recognizing the device.
Is it safe to replace a Suunto core?
Replace it with a decent one and it’ll be good to go for a year+. Suunto may still replace it if it’s faulty – I’ve had 3 new ones front them now (I only ever bought 1 in the first place!). My core kept shutting down and resetting itself as well when it was around 2 years old (about a year ago).
