Are aoudad free range?
All of our aoudad hunts are completely free-range and fair chase. You’ll be pursuing multiple aoudad herds in their natural habitat on top of some of the most beautiful mountains in Southwest Texas.
How much does an aoudad hunt cost?
This is a guaranteed shot opportunity hunt.

Is there a season for aoudad in Texas?
Season. Hunting season for aoudad is open year round however, we schedule our hunts mainly from December-March and this is for a couple of reasons. Also, if you want to hunt a mule deer, we can take advantage of the rut (mid-December thru mid-January).
Is moving wildlife illegal in Texas?
To avoid the potential spread of rabies, the Texas Department of State Health Services states that it is illegal for a person to transport animals such as fox, skunk, coyote or raccoon within Texas.
Is there still a bounty on coyotes in Texas?
The county is under contract with the Texas Wildlife Services Program for predatory trapping services until March 1 and offers a $5 bounty for coyotes through the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office that has been in place for several years.
What is considered a nuisance animal in Texas?
These animals may be referred to as “nuisance animals,” and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (“TWPD”) has listed the main culprits as follows: 1) feral hogs; 2) overabundant deer; 3) urban coyotes; 4) alligators; 5) bears; 6) cowbirds; 7) herons/heronries; 8) mountain lions; 9) ticks; and 10) woodpeckers.
