How long is ICAI registration valid?
As decided by the Council of ICAI, the registration to the registration for Foundation, Intermediate and Final Course are valid for 3 years, 4 years and 5 years respectively.
Is there any time limit for CA final registration?
Answer- The Validity period of CA Final Registration form is 5 year, after that they have to revalidate it. Students may also download CA Final Syllabus.
Will ICAI extend old syllabus validity?
Earlier, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI had released an official notice, allowing an opt-out option for students registered for the July 2021 examination. Last attempt for old course for Final and IPC students has also been extended till November 2021 cycle.
Can a student re-register with ICAI after 3 years?
After the expiry of 3 years from the date of re-registration, the re-registration will again lapse. However the re- registration shall not lapse if such student has appeared in at least one of the last two examinations conducted just before the end of three years.

What happens in case of registration lapse in ICAI?
The registration of such student shall however lapse in case he subsequently does not appear in two consecutive examinations. A student whose registration gets lapsed will be eligible for re-registration. Such students will be required to re-register himself/herself by paying a nominal revalidation fee of Rs.500/-.
