Does OCI card need to endorse new passport?
The requirement of carrying old and new passports, along with the OCI card, has been done away with. Henceforth, an OCI cardholder traveling on the strength of existing OCI card bearing old passport number is not required to carry the old passport. However, carrying the new (current) passport is mandatory.

How do I send missing files to VFS?
You can hand in the missing documentation in person to VFS. Please remember to state your passport number and your full name. Please note, if you choose to send the missing documentation by e-mail to: [email protected] it will be via an unencrypted connection.
Do you need a copy of your passport to apply for OCI?
Endorsement/amendment pages. That is, for 24 pages US passport, copy of pages 22, 23, 24. For 28 pages US passport, copy of pages 25, 26, and 27. Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of submission of application at VFS Global. If must be submitted if you are applying for New OCI.
What do I need to upload for OCI application?

How often do I need to renew my OCI passport?
• For an applicant who is 20 years of age or younger, OCI documents must be re-issued each time a new passport is issued. • For an applicant who is 50 years of age or older, OCI documents must be re-issued once after the issuance of a new passport.
