What does Reglone kill?
Reglone is an aqueous solution of diquat, a non-volatile herbicide with unique properties. It very quickly kills green growth with which it comes into contact and is particularly effective against broadleaf weeds. It is inactivated on contact with the soil and crop roots and seeds below the soil remain unharmed.
How quickly does Reglone work?
The Reglone label says to combine no later than 14 days after application, but it is likely that the crop will reach acceptable moisture levels for harvesting within 4-7 days. A tip for Reglone use: Reglone is activated immediately in daylight, which is why “sunny days” are recommended.
