What is an EDDM facing slip?
USPS EDDM® facing slips tell the USPS how to process and deliver your mail pieces, and you can’t mail without them. Rather than filling out a new facing slip for each bundle on your chosen route, fill out the information that doesn’t change and make copies for your other bundles.

EDDM® Requirements The indicia and the address must be on the same side of the mailer. The whole of your mailing address / label must also be located in the top half of your mailing piece. The orientation of your address / label (i.e. whether your label is applied horizontally or vertically) does not matter.

Bundling at Retail: When you submit Every Door Direct Mail, your pieces must be bundled with a facing slip. Recommended bundle size is 50 to 100 pieces. You must include the piece-count per bundle. Example: A 426-piece mailing could have eight bundles of 50 and one of 26.
