Why is Revelstoke closed?
Due to a staff shortage in our Mountain Operations division attributed to Covid-19 circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to cease operations for the 2020.21 winter season. Our top priority at Revelstoke Mountain Resort has always been the health and safety of our guests and employees.
How difficult is Revelstoke?
The skiing I did in Revelstoke was by far the most challenging skiing I have ever done. The mountain is tough and unforgiving but I’ve never felt such a buzz from my favourite sport. With such fantastically varied terrain, I feel like my skiing improved considerably in the three days of skiing I did.

Snowboarders in particular should a Level 5 or 6 according to our Ability Chart. You will be required to ski in control on various types of backcountry terrain and snow conditions including treed slopes. You should have experience at downhill resorts and have spent some time skiing off the groomed trails.
