How do you remove Denso tape?
Use a wire brush to remove any loose rust particles and flakes. Then use a coarse scrub pad to remove the smaller particles and to further clean the surface. Use a damp sponge to finish the cleaning process. If the surface is too dirty and rusty, use a blast cleaner.

Can you use Denso tape on plastic pipe?
Yes you can wrap the pipes to prevent corrosion as long as the tape is not intended to seal . Whilst I have used some to seal a leak in a plastic soil pipe I wouldn’t expect it to work with liquids or gas under pressure. Bear in mind that the tape is a quite coarse texture.
Will Denso tape stop a leak?
Yes you can use it, BUT it will start to leaking though it in a short time you must be doing something wrong,have you fitted the fibre washer which is normally supplied with the shower valve or if you have used ptfe have you put it round the threads the right way.
Is Denso tape waterproof?
Denso tape is non-hardening and non-cracking. It is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis, salts and micro-organisms and highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases.
