Poured out of a 25 oz cement bottle. Pours a nice dark ruby color with a pillowy 3 finger head. Scents of Belgian candy, orange peel, pear, and sweet cherries. Taste is very smooth. Medium bodied with some cherries and plums. Not cloying. Extremely drinkability and very strong but the alcohol is well hidden. A very good beer.
What is the mouthfeel of delirium nocturnum?
Mouthfeel is clean and medium; alcohol is evident but not intrusive. Finish is clean and sweet, but not cloyingly so. Overall, a little on the sweet side for me but enjoyable nonetheless. On tap at Das Beer Garden. Murky brown with a creamy khaki head.
