The University of Central Florida is committed to all aspects of diversity, including the LGBTQ+ community. On our main campus we have a LGBTQ+ affirming student space, Pride Commons, that acts as a safe space for our LGBTQ+ students and their allies.
What is Safe Zone training?
Safe Zone trainings are opportunities to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. An example of a Safe Zone Trained sticker often given to participants upon completing the training.

The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) comprises many programs, such as intramural sports, sport clubs, outdoor adventure, fitness and aquatics. The RWC is open to all students; paid memberships are available for non-students.
