What was the movie Risen about?
Roman military tribune Clavius (Joseph Fiennes) remains set in his ways after serving 25 years in the army. He arrives at a crossroad when he’s tasked to investigate the mystery of what happened to Jesus (Cliff Curtis) following the Crucifixion. Accompanied by trusted aide Lucius (Tom Felton), his quest to disprove rumors of a risen Messiah makes him question his own beliefs and spirituality. As his journey takes him to places never dreamed of, Clavius discovers the truth that he’s been seeking.

Which is better risen 1 or Risen 2?
Anyway I recommend it. Risen 1 is the real Gothic 3. Risen 2 and 3 are pretty fun voodoo pirate simulators. Risen is great and don’t trust the people claiming Risen 2 and 3 sucks because they’re actually better than Risen 1.
Is the Risen series really that bad?
Risen 1 was really great, and Risen 2…well… It was pretty good too, just really the combat was terrible, it seemed like they tried to Casualize their Witcher-ish style combat system from Risen 1 which many people didnt like, but make no mistake, the storyline and world and such in Risen 2 is top notch regardless of the sub par combat.
How long does it take to play risen?
Risen is a more old school RPG, and has alot of combat, but it’s more about discovering the world and its characters. It’s very exploration centric and an 18 hour play through seems more like rushing through the central narrative. I clocked in 50 hours in both Risen 1 & 2 on a single playthrough.
Where does the story of risen take place?
