a server for ARK needs a strong CPU (I5/R5 and up) with at least 16gb RAM. for 5-10 players are 16gb enough. ok i may have a rethink of the hardware. i was hoping i could do this with out having to buy anything new. If you’re going to host a server, you need lots more ram that just a measely 16gb.
